Our office wants to provide our patients with the very finest dental care available by using the best technology the industry has available.
State-of-the-Art X-Rays
We are equipped to use digital X-Ray and 3D images. This allows us to make an accurate diagnosis and begin treatment immediately. A 3D X-Ray provides a complete view of the patient’s mouth anatomy so we can see bones, soft tissues and nerve tracks. Digital X-Rays emit very little radiation and are a safe way to provide the images necessary to safeguard your dental health.
DIAGNOdent™
The DIAGNOdent pen is used to detect cavities in early stages. This non-invasive laser identifies contaminants inside the tooth’s surface. When cavities are detected in early stages, they are easier to treat and more of the tooth can be preserved.
Dental Lasers
Lasers allow some types of oral surgery to be completed without drills or sutures. We use both hard and soft tissue lasers to enhance patient comfort and allow for more precision in some procedures. For example, when treating cavities with a laser it is possible to save more of the healthy tooth. We use soft tissue lasers to treat gum disease and to contour gums. Lasers are less invasive therefore many laser treatments have shorter healing times.
Isolite System
The Isolite is a moisture suction system that improves patient comfort and safety. It replaces the uncomfortable cotton rolls and reduces drooling and splashing.
Smile Preview Software
This software allows our patients to see a digital photo of what their smile will look like after certain procedures are completed. Ever wonder how you would look with straighter teeth? Or with porcelain veneers? Smile preview software can help you make decisions about whether to move forward with a particular treatment.
In-House Crown Milling
Belle Haven Dental has invested in the latest in-house milling equipment so we can control the quality of restorations from start to finish. Our digital imaging designs your dental crown with precision and then our mill will have your custom crown ready for you in a single visit. You’ll have a crown that looks natural and fits comfortably and you won’t have to come in for multiple appointments.
